These installations include mixed media, photography, and sculpture. The translucent "skins" were created using a process of lifting rust, carbon and markings from charred surfaces (mainly bakeware). The rust, carbon, and markings become embedded in an acrylic "skin"... to which photography (in the form of pigmented inkjet print and Xerox transfers), paint, and found objects are often added. These acrylic "skins" can also be viewed in the mixed media sections. Sound (see sculpture) and tea cakes were also part of the work. | ![]() |
